Promo press tours

Presenting the regional tourist offer, two press tours were organized within the project "Development of the regional tourist offer of Šumadija and Pomoravlje".

The first tour presented the cultural and historical heritage and gastronomic offer of the destination Aranđelovac and Topola, on September 18, 2023. The tour program included Orašac and the young Eden winery in Arandjelovac, then Oplenac with the Church of St. George and the mausoleum of the Karađorđević dynasty and the Royal Winery in Topola. The tour ended with a traditional lunch at the Stara Kamenica restaurant in Topola, which is an example of good practice in using local products and healthy food grown on the farm of the household that manages the restaurant.

The second tour presented the natural wealth and cultural-historical heritage, including the industrial heritage of the destinations Despotovac, Ćuprija, Paraćin, also perceived as the broader area of ​​the Senj mine. The program included a visit to Ravanica monastery, Senjski rudnik coal mine and the museum, the village of Zabrega and the nearby Petrus picnic area with a view of the Petrus fortress and a tour of the Namasija monastery. The tour also included a visit to the household that manages the water mill, where visitors could taste corn bread „proja“ made from flour milled at that mill, as well as buy „proja“ flour. The tour ended on Grza, with lunch at the Koliba restaurant, which served trout from the pond on Grza.
