Workshop on "Women's rural Initiative" Šumadija

In the framework of the program "Support to rural and regional development in the Republic of Serbia", financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, 07/10/2016. in Kragujevac was held a workshop on "Women's rural Initiative  Šumadija - Developing initiatives and partnerships on territory of Šumadija County".
In addition to representatives of local governments from Šumadija County, workshop was attended by representatives of the civil, public and private sectors. Representatives of farms, manufacturers, associations of women showed  great interest to get involved in the work.
The workshop covered analyzes in regard situation of women in rural areas, sectors of traditional products in Šumadija County as sector that comprises area of intervention in initiative as economic empowerment and representation of women's interests/what are the barriers.
The second part of the workshop was aimed at evaluating partnerships in terms of sectoral approaches and defining organizational and management structure of the partnership.
