The Regional Economic Development Agency of Šumadija and Pomoravlje started the realization of the NEXT project (Collaborative platform to support research and technology transfer) within the Adriatic IPA Cross Border Cooperation 2007 – 2013 program. The leading partner on the project is the Italian region Marke with total of 11 partners from 6 countries: Italy, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Serbia and Monte Negro. The project is to be realized in the period between October  2012 – April 2015.

By making a network between the business, institutional and academic community, the project`s aim is to form the collaborative platform between the research centers, companies and researchers which will stimulate and support the investment route which in turn will enable the increase of the competitiveness in the region.

The Regional Economic Development Agency of Šumadija and Pomoravlje organized the promotion of the NEXT project on 18th April 2014 in the premises of the Business innovation center in Kragujevac.
