In the period from 5th to 7th November 2018, Mr. Michael Meyer, representative of CEEweb visited Šumadija and Pomoravlje, as REDASP’s mentor on INSiGHTS project.

During the visit, REDASP organized meetings with the main actors of the centers for promotion of slow, green and healthy tourism in the territory of Sumadija and Pomoravlje. On 05 November, the 5th regional stakeholder group workshop was held in Šumarice hotel where representatives of Šumadija and Rekovac were present - tourist organizations, mountaineers, active holiday organizers, as well as a representative of the media and a travel agency. On November 6, the meeting was held in Despotovac tourist organization, and continued in the village farm Eko farm Milanovic, where talks were held with representatives of mountaineers and associations KAUP - Club of active nature lovers.

Participants discussed the integrated tourism offer, proposals and solutions for improving the tourism product and modernizing the offer, the role of clubs, tourist organizations, tourist rural households. The mentor provided valuable advice for creating sustainable product. Outside the working meetings, visits were organized to Šumarice lake and adventure park in Kragujevac and staying in a rural tourist household outside Kragujevac. In Despotovec, the visitor was guided to Resava cave, the adventure park and the Monastery of Manasija.
