Start of EIT Manufacturing's national level programme in Serbia
We are happy to announce the start of EIT Manufacturing's
national level programme in Serbia implemented with the Serbian Association of
Regional Development Agencies (SARRA) and REDASP.
The programme aims to promote cooperation between EIT Manufacturing and SARRA
on mobilizing, interlinking and promoting the engagement of national and
regional manufacturing stakeholders with EIT Manufacturing to foster digital, green
and inclusive manufacturing ecosystems across Serbia.
A particular focus of the programme is set on the inclusion element to enable a
fast-track transition of Serbian manufacturing ecosystems towards better
accounting for diversity, youth engagement, groups at risk and gender equality.
With this, we strive to offer greater benefits for the wider society and make
manufacturing more appealing as a professional sector.
Our strategic agenda for this programme covers:
• Supporting an inclusive and
gender-balanced innovation talent hub in region.
• Supporting manufacturing ecosystems to
acquire innovation, training and infrastructure grants and investment to foster
the transition to digital, green and inclusive manufacturing.
• Supporting the development of regional talent
hubs and vocational centres of excellence that would mitigate the labour
shortage and skill-gap in manufacturing while also upskilling people with
disabilities
• Organization of professional seminars,
gatherings, counselling and promotional events
• Organization and implementation of
research, studies and analysis
• Connection of scientific research
organizations and private companies for the development and commercialization of
innovations;
• Cooperation with international financial
institutions, organizations, donors and the private sector.
