Regional Agency for Economic Development Šumadije and Pomoravlje on Corfu
Regional Agency for Economic Development Šumadije and Pomoravlje is a partner in the project " An Adriatic Network for Advancing Research Development and Innovation towards the Creation of new Policies for Sustainable Competitiveness and Technological Capacity of SMEs" (short Adriatinn), which officially began in November 2013th year
ADRIATinn aims to increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Adriatic area and their ability to penetrateinto new markets through cross-border ecosystem that encourages the adoption of information technology, innovation and training.
Given that the Innovation and networking are the two keys for SMEs sustainable growth which in turns leads to the EU economy, the project Adriatinn formed a consortium partner institutions from 8 countries (Greece, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro). The consortium comprises institutions such as chambers of commerce to represent the interests of SMEs; prominent institutes of research and development that will enable SMEs to meet their needs and help them to produce innovative products and services, the regional governments formulate policies and strategies should support innovation and networking within the industry.
The first kick- off meeting, was held in Corfu on 3rd and 4th February 2014. The partners were introduced to the roles and activities foreseen either side of the Consortium and define an action plan for the coming period, deadlines for achievement and ways to further spread of results.
ADRIATinn project is co-financed by the European Commission in the framework of cross-border cooperation - IPA 2007-2013 .
