Participation at tourism fair BIT Milano 2020
The largest tourism fair in Italy - BIT Milan was held from 9 to11February 2020, and this year marked its 40th anniversary. The first day was dedicated to wide audience, while the other two days were reserved for the business community. The ADRION 5 SENSES project was presented at the fair with the focus on the platform that presents the tourist offer of the Adriatic-Ionian region, ie. countries and regions that are partners in this project. It promotes an integrated and multi-sensory approach to development and marketing of a tourist destination. Cultural, historical and natural heritage and part of the offer for active holidays in Sumadija and Pomoravlje are part of the presentation of the macro tourist destination of ADRION – www.adrion5senses.eu.
Representatives of the Regional Economic Development Agency for Sumadija and Pomoravlje, as part of the ADRION 5 SENSES project team, participated in the fair and contributed to the presentation of the tourist offer of our region.
The ADRION 5 SENSES project "Building the ADRION Brand Name in Tourism: Indulging All Five Senses" - is being implemented through the trans-national cooperation program Interreg Adrion financed by the European Union from ERDF and IPA II funds. REDASP is one of 9 partners coming from Greece, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and Serbia. The associate partner on the project is the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia.
