The regional conference of actors in tourism sector in Sumadija and Pomoravlje was held on 20 March 2019, in the Industrial Hotel in Kragujevac. The conference presented the strategy and action plan for development of integrated multi-sensory tourism of Sumadija and Pomoravlje as a result of previous work for stakeholders.

Through the discussion of the participants, the final version was defined, which will be presented to the partners in ADRION 5 SENSES project. The participants agreed that for the further development of tourism in the region, an important component is the gastronomic offer, which is rich and characteristic, and on the other hand, the insufficiently exploited tourism potential. The emphasis in the action plan is placed on gastro and wine tourism, which, also in the light of multi-sensory tourism, is a good basis for development of the offer that gives visitors experience for all senses.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, which is an associate partner on this project. Representatives of tourist organizations, the city of Kragujevac, agricultural producers, wine producers, rural tourist households, non-governmental sector and the media were actively involved. Experts from the field of gastro tourism presented trends and standards in this sector of tourism. The Regional Economic Development Agency for Sumadija and Pomoravlje, as one of the partners at the project, organized this event.
