Concept of Balkan wine route presented in Budapest

In the framework of the project METRIS wine, upon the invitation of the Secretariat of SWG (Standing Working Group for Rural Development SEE), from 5.12 up to 7.12.2016. representatives of REDASP resided in Budapest at a regular annual Assembly of SWG.
On that occasion, director of the Agency presented the concept of forming Balkan net wine network to support the development of the sector of wine production in the Balkans.

The concept envisages linking of the existing Association of wine producers and support institutions as well as global positioning of the Balkan wine regions.

The idea met with a positive reception from participants of the event, which resulted in agreement on the common organization (SWG-REDASP) of Regional workshop in February 2017 in Belgrade, which will bring together future network members as well as members of the working group for support development of the sector of wine production of SWG consisting from representatives of the relevant ministries of the member states and academic community.
